Pictures from Tucson Conference on Saturday, March 7, 2015

Attached are some photos I took while down in Tucson on March 7, 2015.  It was a great event and you may want others to view.  Stan & Rose Ann, did a great job setting up the monitor and computer to show things regarding the Knights and I like to thank them for their efforts!  Other than that, enjoy the photos.

Prayer warriors out in force at Tempe Planned Parenthood.

This Friday is the day for Saint Mary Magdalene Knights of Columbus to line the sidewalk at Chandler Planned Parenthood.

Praying for crowds, like we see in these pictures.

God bless,

Sunday, 3-15-15
City of the Lord teens PRAY TO END ABORTION!

City of the Lord was one of our first ever "teen" groups to pray and stand witness during a 40DFL campaign at the Tempe Planned Parenthood and they are the first "teen" pro-life group to use their talents to make a video for the 40DFL Tempe prayer vigil challenge.  Your continued prayers, witness and support inspire and encourage all of us!  Thank you.

Saturday morning, 3-14-15
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Scottsdale and St. Timothy's PRAY TO END ABORTION!

Thank you Fr. Greg Menegay for joining us and a young man (1st on the left) holding a Defend Life sign high above his head.  That young man just happened to be walking by and wanted to help support our cause and pray to end abortion.  All Glory to God for this Life affirming witness!

Saturday afternoon, 3-14-15
More special guests from Show Low

Dinah Monahan praying and standing witness with two of her 24 grandchildren.  You might recall, Dinah drove down last Spring with one of her grandsons to PRAY TO END ABORTION in Tempe.  Dinah is the founder of Living Hope Women's Center in Show Low AZ and said "If we truly believe this is murder, we should be out here..." (praying and standing witness in front of Planned Parenthood).

Thursday 3-12-15
Prayer and Outreach...

These first time teen 40DFL prayer warriors from Show Low experienced many events while praying and standing witness.  The battle was on.

"Christian! Never tremble; Never be downcast; Gird yourself for battle; Watch, and pray, and fast."That is exactly what I witness on Thursday.  Christian's, young Christian's with courage, joy and determination for LIFE. The evil one tried to cause division, but the Holy Spirit gathered together a prayerful group of young warriors that prayed for those who verbally attacked us.

Let us pray for mercy, peace, and an outpouring of God's Love to overflow upon all who have experienced the violence of abortion or any violent crime against humanity.

PRAY TO END ABORTION

Peace be with you,

Laugh4Hope: Support the Culture of Life Programs

Brothers,

Here is a fun way to support the Culture of Life! Laugh4Hope is an annual family-friendly comedy night that brings hope to the community through laughter. On April 11, 2015, doors open at 6:00PM and the show starts at 7:00PM, at the Grand Canyon University Arena, 3300 West Camelback Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85017.

Laugh4Hope is a stand-up comedy night designed to both uplift and encourage the community while benefiting two local, non-profit, low-cost healthcare centers that serve women and children in need across the Greater Phoenix area.  Our reason is simple, to provide a night of clean comedy that unites people and serves a greater purpose all while laughing at the humorous irregularities of life!

As a local grassroots effort, Laugh4Hope builds relationships and strengthens communities while supporting the critical work of honorable healthcare.  LCWC & the HOPE Mobile, the beneficiaries of Laugh4Hope, provide quality healthcare to the medically underserved and working poor.

Laugh4Hope will promise you a night of good, clean laughter.  The comedians will not use inappropriate language or make any sexual innuendos.  The humor is aimed at adults and older children/teenagers.  It is a memorable family event! In these hectic times, get back to basics with your family and loved ones, reconnect with your coworkers and friends by laughing together at real life experiences.

Here is a link you can use http://www.laugh4hopephx.com/ to reserve your tickets. If any council would like to purchase a group of 10 or more, please call 480-448-5600 as soon as possible. (I am told that these are reserved seats and in a much better location).

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

Vivat Jesus!

New Supreme App for Both iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) & Android Operating Systems

Brothers,

In the March 2015 Knightline, there is an article on the new membership Supreme App for Both iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) & Android Operating Systems. For your convenience, you can find this article pasted below. This can be a great way to help you tell our story when you are trying to talk with someone to join the Knights of Columbus. Please consider loading this app on your smartphone and tablet with iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) or Android operating systems. I was able to easily search for and download on my iPhone and iPad, by using the words Knights of Columbus Join Us in the App Store search field. Hopefully, this will help you strengthen the Order with new members. Please forward this email to everyone in your Council.

“Why Join the Knights of Columbus?”: New membership app lets prospects know what the Order offers

The new Knights of Columbus “Join Us” app shows what the Order has to offer eligible Catholic men and their families. The app is now available, free of charge, on both iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) and Android operating systems. This app features an overview of the Knights of Columbus’ work in providing security to families, as well as our charitable and faith-based programs. It’s a concise and engaging way to share with prospects the good works and top-rated insurance protection made possible by joining the Order. Through the app, one can also access the online form interested prospects can complete as the first step in becoming a Knight of Columbus. This tool is available for download on any compatible device. Download this app and encourage your fellow Knights to do the same. With such a convenient recruitment tool available at our fingertips, we can all the more easily show qualified Catholic men what the Knights of Columbus can provide for both him and his family.

Oleander Cleaning - Tucson

The Chief Judge John M. Roll Chapter, representing Councils and Assemblies of Southern Arizona, trimmed the oleander bushes for the Sister's at the Benedictine Monastery.  Saturday morning, February 28th, 2015, fourteen Brother Knights and three Wives trimmed, picked up, and swept clean the oleander leaves and branches.  The 12 to 15-foot tall bushes that were trimmed are located on the perimeter of the monastery grounds.  A large roll-off container was filled to the top with oleander leaves and branches.  The oleander trimming operations on the outside of the grounds are complete for this year.  The Sister's were very appreciative and, as always, provided lunch for the crew.
