40DFL, Tempe update #2
~ Edmund Burke
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." ~Galatians 6:9
Sunday, 3-15-15
City of the Lord teens PRAY TO END ABORTION!
City of the Lord was one of our first ever "teen" groups to pray and stand witness during a 40DFL campaign at the Tempe Planned Parenthood and they are the first "teen" pro-life group to use their talents to make a video for the 40DFL Tempe prayer vigil challenge. Your continued prayers, witness and support inspire and encourage all of us! Thank you.
Saturday morning, 3-14-15
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Scottsdale and St. Timothy's PRAY TO END ABORTION!
Thank you Fr. Greg Menegay for joining us and a young man (1st on the left) holding a Defend Life sign high above his head. That young man just happened to be walking by and wanted to help support our cause and pray to end abortion. All Glory to God for this Life affirming witness!
Saturday afternoon, 3-14-15
More special guests from Show Low
Dinah Monahan praying and standing witness with two of her 24 grandchildren. You might recall, Dinah drove down last Spring with one of her grandsons to PRAY TO END ABORTION in Tempe. Dinah is the founder of Living Hope Women's Center in Show Low AZ and said "If we truly believe this is murder, we should be out here..." (praying and standing witness in front of Planned Parenthood).
Thursday 3-12-15
Prayer and Outreach...
These first time teen 40DFL prayer warriors from Show Low experienced many events while praying and standing witness. The battle was on.
"Christian! Never tremble; Never be downcast; Gird yourself for battle; Watch, and pray, and fast."That is exactly what I witness on Thursday. Christian's, young Christian's with courage, joy and determination for LIFE. The evil one tried to cause division, but the Holy Spirit gathered together a prayerful group of young warriors that prayed for those who verbally attacked us.
Let us pray for mercy, peace, and an outpouring of God's Love to overflow upon all who have experienced the violence of abortion or any violent crime against humanity.
PRAY TO END ABORTION
Peace be with you,
Lisa Blevins

Laugh4Hope: Support the Culture of Life Programs
Brothers,
Here is a fun way to support the Culture of Life! Laugh4Hope is an annual family-friendly comedy night that brings hope to the community through laughter. On April 11, 2015, doors open at 6:00PM and the show starts at 7:00PM, at the Grand Canyon University Arena, 3300 West Camelback Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85017.
Laugh4Hope is a stand-up comedy night designed to both uplift and encourage the community while benefiting two local, non-profit, low-cost healthcare centers that serve women and children in need across the Greater Phoenix area. Our reason is simple, to provide a night of clean comedy that unites people and serves a greater purpose all while laughing at the humorous irregularities of life!
As a local grassroots effort, Laugh4Hope builds relationships and strengthens communities while supporting the critical work of honorable healthcare. LCWC & the HOPE Mobile, the beneficiaries of Laugh4Hope, provide quality healthcare to the medically underserved and working poor.
Laugh4Hope will promise you a night of good, clean laughter. The comedians will not use inappropriate language or make any sexual innuendos. The humor is aimed at adults and older children/teenagers. It is a memorable family event! In these hectic times, get back to basics with your family and loved ones, reconnect with your coworkers and friends by laughing together at real life experiences.
Here is a link you can use http://www.laugh4hopephx.com/ to reserve your tickets. If any council would like to purchase a group of 10 or more, please call 480-448-5600 as soon as possible. (I am told that these are reserved seats and in a much better location).
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Vivat Jesus!
