Mothers Day Right to Life Rosary

Mother’s Day Right to Life Rosary
The power of prayer was strong as the Knights and their ladies from Councils Padre Serra,#7114; St. Joan of Arc, #14357;  and St. Paul’s, #15001 gathered in front of Planned Parenthood on West Eugie St. in Glendale to pray the rosary for the lives of the unborn about to be aborted.  The Knights are joined by other Right to Life groups who try to intervene with mothers who are contemplating abortion.  This weekly rosary is shared among the Councils in the area who, in turn, take one Sunday a month to pray the rosary and show our support for the right to life at the very center where these egregious murders are taking place. It was especailly meaningful on this day, Mothers’ Day. Later during the rosary we were joined by more supporters who processed around the clinic with the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Thanks to these efforts, over the last year there have been a number of “turn arounds” of mothers at this clinic who responded to the Lord’s call to save their babies.  (Story and photos courtesy of Skip Hopler)

  1. Love is the ability and willingness to allow those that you care for to be what they choose for themselves without any insistence that they satisfy you.
