Sir Knights from Fr. Anthony Rey Assembly # 3617 provided an Honor Guard for the Commissioning Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church 20 August 2017. After Mass, they posed for a photo with one of the school's students who hosted a bake sale to raise funds for the school's "Pennies for Heaven" drive for vocations. Last year the school raised $1,800 and Emily was the top fundraiser. This year she hopes to top last year's record. The Principal allows her Knights of Columbus council (Bishop Francis J. Green # 11855) to set up a display case in the school hallway with 8"x10" photos of the seminarians and Sisters of Charity who will benefit from their "Pennies from Heaven" drive.
