Tucson Sir Knights Conduct POW-MIA Ceremony
17 Sir Knights from three assemblies conducted a POW-MIA Ceremony on September 15th, for the 7th and 8th graders at Saints Peter and Paul School in Tucson who were joined by the 5th graders from San Manuel. Faithful Navigator Sir Knight Ray Obral was Master of Ceremonies and explained the battlefield cross and the symbolism on the POW-MIA flag. The empty table ceremony followed the script used during at the dinner following the January 2017 Patriotic Degree Exemplification. District Marshal AZ South, Sir Knight Drew Mansager, drew tears with his moving rendition of Amazing Grace on his bagpipes.
