Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics Bowling Competition

Good Morning Worthy State Officers, Directors, Chairmen, and Brothers,

          It's time for the Special Olympics Coronado Area Bowling Competition.
Please check with your Assemblies/Councils and send me the completed (attached) spreadsheet with all of your Volunteers listed.

This event is always a lot of fun so please consider volunteering!!!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
 
SPECIAL OLYMPICS CORONADO AREA
2015 BOWLING COMPETITION
 
 
 
 
When:           November 12th, 13th & 14th     
                  Shift 1:  8:45AM – 11:15AM
                  Shift 2: 10:45AM – 1:15PM
    (Thursday – Juniors; Friday – Seniors/High School; Saturday – Adults)
 
 
Where:         Golden Pin Lanes  
                  1010 W. Miracle Mile
 
 
    What:           This is our biggest competition of the year, with approximately 1,000 athletes competing over the course of three days. Volunteers are needed to assist with monitoring the lanes and hand-scoring ramp bowlers. We are also looking for honor guards, first aid providers (EMTs/RNs) and photographers for each session. Volunteer slots will be filled on a first-come basis (we generally have the most difficulty finding volunteers for Thursday and Friday). Due to the demands of the job assignments, volunteers must be age 16 or older for this competition.
     
     
      To Register:   Send an email to Office@SOAZTucson.org and provide your name, email address and which day(s)/time(s) you are willing to volunteer. Also indicate if you know how to hand score bowling (the majority of games are machine scored). No phone calls please.
       
                          VOLUNTEER GROUPS ARE ASKED TO DESIGNATE ONE CONTACT PERSON TO EMAIL ON THEIR BEHALF AND SUBMIT A GROUP REGISTRATION FORM (SEE ATTACHED).
