9/11 Memorial Services

Twelve Sir Knights from three Assemblies joined agents from six different federal, state and local agencies, as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2066, in Nogales, AZ to commemorate the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks. 


Personnel from the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, Boarder Patrol, Santa Cruz Sheriff Department, Nogales Suburban Fire Department, Nogales Fire Department and Nogales Police Department remember fallen comrades of 9/11/2001.

Faithful Navigators Luis Leyva, Padre Kino Assembly 1918, and Dan Doyle, Msgr. Duval Assembly 19, present a wreath in memory of those murdered in the terrorist attack in 2001.

Fr. Bardo Antunez incenses the altar at San Felipe de Jesus church in Nogales, AZ.

Local piper leads the congregation to final ceremonies.
